Welcome to the City of Agoura Hills On-Line Services

The City of Agoura Hills's goal is to make the permit process convenient for the citizens, contractors, developers, and agencies by reducing the amount of time currently required for certain services. Other City departments' permits will be available in the future through this site. From this site you can currently schedule inspections, view inspection histories and schedules.

Getting Started

Without registering, you can:

·         Search for permits by address, permit number, or project name

·         Search for plan case by address, plan case number, or project name

·         View today’s inspections

With a registered login, you can:

·         Out of Town Contractors – Apply for New Business License

·         Apply for a Water Heater Permit or Electrical Permit


To begin using the On-Line Permit/Business License Renewal Program, you will be required to register. Click on "Register" located on the right side of the top menu bar above. After filling in the required information which will include your email address and a password, click submit. The City Departments will review for approval. Upon approval you will receive a notification. Following notification and using your email address and password to login, you may begin the permitting process.

Click on the "Permit” link on the toolbar above. Click "Begin Process”. A list of permits available on-line will appear. Click on the permit type you would like to obtain.

The applicant will be required to supply all the information requested. Please read each bullet item below:

Ø  Search address -when entering the address where work will be done, please note ADDRESS FIELD 1is for the STREET NUMBER and ADDRESS FIELD 2 is for the STREET NAME.

Ø  All fields with an”!” are required fields. The permit request will not submit when a required field is left blank.

Ø  Make sure all fixtures are selected by entering the correct number of fixtures to be installed. This will trigger the fee.


Ø  All "Required" attachments must be included upon submittal.

Ø  Fee must be paid.  After clicking on "Finish" on attachment page, click on "Home" link on grey menu bar. Scroll down to the invoices section.  Select the invoice and proceed through payment process. A convenience fee for credit /debit card is 3.29%, plus $.20 transaction fee. These fees are paid directly to the credit card processing agency.

Ø  Upon approval you will receive an email with a copy of the permit attached. This permit must be printed and posted at work site.

If documents and payment are not received, the permit will not be processed.
